Firewalls for Dummies Komar, Beekelaar and Wettern - is only 383 pages, so apparently it's easier to hack firewalls than cook
The Dotcom bust isn't completely bad... I'd have never had time for this stuff before...

Hugely frustrating morning wasted at the DMV. I read the instructions on their Web site, showed up with the documents and $8 fee, only to be told after 2 hours waiting that the Web site info was not correct. "I have no idea what we put on the Web site, I've never seen it' said the clerk. Why am I surprised that an organization that's lousy in real life, is just as lousy online...

Dotcom Garden: the lettuce is thriving, cilantro very happy, dill is sulking as are the freshly transplanted early tomatoes. Waiting for the weather to warm up, I think...
