After a week with Jaguar we have very few problems to report. There does seem to be a threading issue with MS Entourage - the cursor gets very jerky while Entourage is downloading email. I saw some reports of MS Word crashes (on Save) with Jaguar... but haven't seen any either on home G4s or PowerBook G3.
My SIIG PC-card reader has stopped working, but my Canon flat scanner has started working with Vue Scan (prolly Vue Scan's efforts, not Jag's). I see the spinning beach ball less, but it hasn't gone away completely (redesigned, though).
I used the iChat feature to stay in touch with the San Francisco office of Ventanis while I worked at home one day last week. I had to upgrade the FAXstf software, still not sure it's working AOK. The new integrated local search and Sherlock are nice.
Bottom line: pretty good for a 'major' OS release. Worth $129? Not on top of the $179 I've already plunked down for the public beta and 10.1x release. The real work seems to be in Apple Apps like Mail and Address Book (that I don't use). Rendezvous has promise, but isn't much supported yet... It does run very nicely on the 2-processor machines at the Apple Store, but I'm guessing 10.1x does, too...
