Cool...: my Linux machine, a hot-rod AMD-based DIY job (complete with blue fluorescent lighting and transparent side cover) hiccupped while running the xawtv app... the TV app was running, but the X windows system was essentially dead - not responding to mouse clicks etc. So I went over to my Mac OS X machine, fired up the terminal app, SSH'd into the AMD and did a clean restart. Everything back to normal, now... got to love highly-reliable OSes... Comments 11:24:27 AM
