This post is being written on my Linux desktop: I've actually used my Linux machine a lot lately. I love Mac OS X, but spouse Linda is spending much less time on TV, and much more time on our (shared) Mac... I should probably set up Net boot - there are 2 Macs (but only one 21" display) and we should be able to go to either one. Mozilla does almost everything I need to do on the Net, reasonably well. Linux machine has a TV card (xawtv works good), Open Office (not bad) and GNOME is about as stable as Mac OS X Aqua...

The name 'Chris Gulker' shows up 1,670 times on Google. I tried searching on my name after I saw a note on Doc Searls' blog. Lots of embarrassing stuff (and one or two good things) I forgot I'd written... Doc Searls shows up more than 70,000 times... should we start Google vanity wars?
