Appropriate medium: Peter Kaminski circulated a pen and tablet at the Blogger Dinner, last night, where everyone wrote down their URLs (no names). Here's the list. He's also been blogging the Supernova conference via WiFi. Nice guy... and nice to meet people in person...

A clawback "is a refund that venture capitalists are contractually obligated to make to investors if it turns out the VCs pocketed more than their 20% share of a fund's overall profits" according to Ann Grimes, writing in The Wall Street Journal. Hard times all over...

Speaking of The Independent, I asked Indy Digital editor Charles Arthur, why he doesn't blog. His response:

"I've considered it often but it would be so sporadic that I don't know whether it would be worth the effort. I might reconsider next year; the attractions are, well, attractive, always providing one can draw stuff in that's interesting.

" But as I said, I'm considering. As much as anything it's a question of which is the better software - Radio or, uh, the other stuff? I have got a Weblog book sitting in front of me. Bernie Goldbach says gulker.com's RSS feed is timing out. I'm flattered that Bernie, a technology writer for the Irish Examiner is interested (even if he is technically a competitior... I write for The Independent in London, which is owned by the Examiner's competition). Been waiting for some WiFi wizard to light up this corner of Menlo Park...
