 The new stove is a Dacor. Our old stove was electric, and pretty hard to cook on. After much research, I chose this Dacor because it had all the features of Wolf, Viking etc. plus a gas broiler - which is one of the cool things that restaurant chefs have that you don't usually find at home. The burners are a combined 90,000 BTU, and the 2 convection ovens required a 50 kilowatt circuit. This thing is a dream to cook on... braised chicken breasts and green beans last night...Comments 10:02:36 AM

 Kitchen progress: we cooked our first meal Sunday night (stir fry in a neat new wok Linda bought me for Christmas). Now I just have to figure out how to pay for all this...Comments 9:55:34 AM
