 Knowles, California, 1911: this family photo shows James and Eva Reid and their 5 children. James was a granite cutter who worked in the nearby quarry. Eva was the postmistress. The baby is my mother-in-law, Edith Hubbard, who just passed away, aged 92. The other children (from upper left) are Hazel, Douglas, Duncan and Claire with Brick, the dog.
