Jesse Malone, author of Reblogger, was kind enough to reply and note that the Linux distro of Reblogger is more likely to work on Mac OS X thanks to formatting, control characters et al. Unzipped and untarred on Linux box, and 2 of 3 scripts run much better... the main script is still balking... Comments 10:43:41 PM

Problem seems to be formatting of the perl scripts (unless there's a weird permissions thing somewhere)... originally DLed the scripts to a PC: when I replaced them all with a package DLed and decompressed on a Mac OS X machine, 2 of the 3 scripts started working. I think the UNIX LF CR stuff may be an issue... I stripped the LFs and the balky script gave different errors... Comments 4:42:12 PM

The problem seems to be a missing 'EOT' in Reblogger's Perl scripts. Here are the error logs:
Can't find string terminator "EOT" anywhere before EOF at /Library/WebServer/WebSites/gulker/gulker.com/cgi-bin/reblogger/comment_manager.pl line 800.

Hmmm... Comments not working yet... got reblogger running (I think) on the server, but the javascript in the page doesn't seem to be firing... Comments 11:01:54 AM
