 Xgrid in the Core: so one of the first experiments on the core.gulker.com LAN was to fire up Xgrid, Apple's cluster technology for Mac OS X. A G5 and 2 G4s are now, after a little fiddling (but much easier than configuring a Beowulf cluster), talking to each other and running the demo Mandelbrot plotting program. Next up will be figuring out something useful, and embarrassingly parallel, that can be handed off to my mini-grid. Extra points if I can figure out how to publish results to gulker.net....Comments 8:42:47 PM
