There are more bicycles than people in the Netherlands, or so we were told a number of times by residents during our recent visit. Clearly, the Dutch are less worried than Americans about helmets and other safety gear: these 3 snaps from Amsterdam show a common mode of family transportation. Around Menlo Park, the rather larger Chevy Suburban seems to be the preferred vehicle for transporting children... |
