Major re-hack of gulker.com's World HQ is under way. Started last weekend, and so far have set up a Mac OS X server, to replace an aging Linux server, and am re-configuring the LAN. The goal will be that users can log in from any machine on the LAN and have their full environment - files, bookmarks, email etc.
I haven't run OS X server for a couple of years. The 10.4 version has grown quite a bit from 10.1 days. As nice as the server management interface is, this is a very complex product, and it is taking me some time to get up to speed on the new features.
Another addition is a KVM switch on our Apple 17" Studio Display. This is to switch between an AMD 64 Linux box, a (coming soon) Mac Mini or one of our laptops, making for a bit nicer set up when working from home. Also upgrading to gigabit ethernet...
