Google alert: so, when a Google app breaks, what do you do? Google is famous for not encouraging 2-way contact with users (there's a lot of users, and not many - relatively speaking - Google employees). There's a few brief FAQs, but there's no support, per se. If you have a problem - and are using Google apps for some important part of life or business - what is one to do?
My problem is that I signed up for a couple of Google alerts some time ago - before Google adopted Google mail IDs as log-ins. I'd like to cancel a raft of them, but they don't show up under my Google account, which was instituted some time after I set up the alerts. The FAQ holds no help, and I have no idea where to go next. The alerts predate my Google mail account and all of the links in the alerts just dump me back into my account, which shows I have no alerts...
