 Creek's way down since this time yesterday (compare with picture taken 24 hours earlier, below). Judging from the graffiti under the bridge, San Francisquito Creek is down 6 feet. Note the tree, foreground, which is completely underwater in the photo below...Comments 4:57:03 PM

A tree in the garden fell during the night... Linda woke up, I didn't quite. San Francisquito Creek, which runs behind houses opposite us on Oak Street, is at a level not seen for years. As I snapped a picture of the swollen creek, a rubber boat shot by, along with logs, tree stumps and whole trees. The water is moving with amazing force... |

Comcast, our ISP has been down almost all New Year's Eve. Their phone support line plays a recording and then disconnects the caller. Can't post, surf, email... amazing how important broadband has become... Comments 12:19:59 AM
