Blogging tonight from our Linux machine, thanks, in part, to Google Browser Sync. When I got home, spouse Linda was busily working on a project on the G5 Mac, so I moved to the screen nearby which is hooked up via a KVM switch to a Mac Mini and a 64 bit AMD box running Fedora. The Mini is fun, but not in a league with the AMD machine performance-wise.
Over the weekend, I'd ugraded the browser to Firefox 1.5, and installed the Browser Sync plug in. The browser was up, and informed me I'd been logged out of Browser Sync since I'd logged in at another machine. When I clicked to resume, I found my entire session from work waiting for me, history, open pages and all, including a toolbar bookmark pointing to the Radio server on The Core (gulker.com's internal network). Very nice... you can move from Windows to Mac to Linux and it just works. The browser really is becoming the 'platform'...
