Picassa now comes with a web home for your pix, 250 MB worth, according to Rafe Needleman. I didn't see the web feature in the Linux build of Picassa I downloaded last weekend, but perhaps it's brand new (or only in Windows at this juncture). I've been keeping pix on Google Pages, but it's relatively tedious to upload and hand-link the photo files. Rafe wonders why Google offers 2.7 GB storage for email, but only 250 MB for photos, as do I, but I guess it won't do to look a gift horse in the mouth... Comments 8:57:43 AM

 This year's garden is, sadly, a far cry from last year's. Late rains and busy work and travel schedules have left little time, so all we have so far are 2 basil plants from Trader Joe's. Most people keep TJ's basil in a sunny window or on the patio, and pluck a few leaves as needed. I've found that putting them in the ground with good compost keeps the leaves coming back all summer and fall....Comments 8:01:51 AM
