Chris Gulker works for Adobe Systems as an

He has been a startup executive, advisor, and investor, an advocate for open source software, a senior editor at NewsForge, columnist for London's Independent, an Apple Computer publishing markets director, and founder of sfgate.com and www.examiner.com. In a past life, he launched one of the first desktop-published daily newspapers as a San Francisco Examiner editor, and has been a photographer for SABA, Gamma, and the Los Angles Herald Examiner and a contributor to Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Glamour, the New York Times and other publications. He is author of The Sun Java Desktop System Companion, a book about real-world uses of Linux in the enterprise (Pearson, due in late 2004). He resides in Menlo Park, California with spouse Linda, and their dog Cassie, an Australian Shepherd who has opinions.
