Note about scans: they've been adjusted for a "Net safe" pallet of colors (the 219 colors that Windows machines can typically be counted on to "see") and adjusted for Windows contrast and brightness. While every monitor can (and is) adjusted differently, Windows screens tend to render a technically correct scan darker and more contrasty. Accordingly the scans - which were done on very good equipment, have been lightened and softened a little to compensate.
