7.75 miles through midtown and Central Park

Central Park reservoir

Ford Escape Hybrid taxiSo we tried a bit longer jog - 2 laps around the reservoir this morning - for a GMAPS Pedometer-certified 7.75 miles. High clouds came and went, with temperatures right around 80. The humidity, though not bad for NYC at this time of year, is the hardest part of the run for this California-dweller.

On the way I spotted a Ford Escape Hybrid taxi (same model I drive), I’ve seen some Toyota Highlander Hybrids too, both of which makes sense in the taxi biz - roomy vehicles that are easy on gas, especially in city driving.

I think we’ll go over to the nearby ICP to see the Atget and Weegee shows. I need a quiet day after a week on the road…

    Hey Chris!

Great picture of the San Remo where Andy’s almost inlaws reside…Any chance I can get a print of that?

    Love,
    Barb
