The Algonquin to Central Park reservoir circuit

We’ve been thinking that the circuit from the Algonquin on 44th at 6th to the top of the reservoir in Central Park was about 6 miles. I just charted it on Gmaps Pedometer, that trusty and fun AJAX app that calculates distance on Google Maps. Turns out it’s 6.1 miles. It’s been taking me an hour and 15 minutes to jog, with pauses to snap pix - getting slow in my old age…
