The new Apple iPod shuffle

We are intrigued by the new iPod shuffle, we must admit. I have always loved small machines, and the new Shuffle pushes the envelope on small. I can imagine that most headphones have a too-long wire: if you clip this thing to the collar on your T-shirt, you’ll have a couple of feet of floppy wire to deal with. You can probably just clip this machine into another physical UI - a wrist strap, say.
Apple continues its very nice industrial design - I would imagine kids will be all over this thing, and, at $79, their parents will probably let them buy one. Geezer moi will probably buy a new Shuffle just as a jogging accessory…

I’m still glad I’ve got my 1G Shuffle, cos I don’t have a separate memory stick.
Then again, the 2G Shuffle dock is probably small enough to carry around in one’s pocket for memory stick purposes.
Others have made that point.. shuttle was convenient as a mini HD for moving files.
I like the UI… may pick one up just to see if it fits in the gulker.com lifestyle…
