Well, I took Zofran, not quite an hour ago, and next up is the Temodar, the actual chemotherapy drug. The Zofran is meant to control nausea, and the Temodar should cross the blood-brain barrier and make things tougher on the glioma than on the rest of my body, although I guess it kind of knocks my whole immune system down. Temodar is supposed to be good as chemo drugs go: only 36% of patients have nausea according to UCSF’s info sheet. I’ve been nailed by virtually every side effect of the anti-convulsants: I’m hoping for better on the Temodar. Fingers crossed: five minutes to Temodar ingestion…
