A winter morning’s sky

A waning moon and a bare branch made an interesting composition as Cassie and I set out on the morning ‘constitutional.’ My head is full of all the things I need to organize to get re-insert productively in the working world: just as with the cancer treatment and other recent travails, I think best policy is taking it one day at a time.
The female DJ, who has an iron constitution, and who, in 25 years of marriage, has almost never been sick, was down this AM. She didn’t even try to get out of bed: I can’t imagine how, after 3 months of unbeleivable stress and (fortunately) a weekend filled with dinners, movie, shopping and high-bandwidth-immersion with some of her dearest friends she might pick up a bug. Many of our friends have whole families dealing with the flu.
So, I’m shortly off to San Jose, and looking forward to moving things ahead in 2007. CES and Macworld open today, among other things, and whole realms of innovation await investigation. Woo hoo… Lots to do….
