Back up at the crack of dawn

Cassie and I were up before the sun along with the female DJ (aka Dawn Jogger), now recovered enough to head out on her short (3+ mile) jog, while Cassie and I did our 1.8 mile patrol. Ms. Hubbard Gulker informs me the sun will rise no sooner than 7:25 on any morning this week, and this attempt at a hand-held, longer than 1-second time exposure of a planet hovering in the morning sky challenged the Lumix’ image-stabilization algorithms.
After yesterday’s leisurely first-day run to work, today we’re meeting an earlier fast commuter train and getting to work for morning meetings et al. Ramping back up to full speed, one step at a time…
