Leopard MIA from Macworld?

Hmmmm… we have a conference called ‘Macworld,’ traditionally devoted to afficianadoes of a certain brand of computer. That computer runs Mac OS X and those same zealots have been waiting for news of the latest version, 10.5 aka Leopard. But, ohmigosh, there’s no sign of Mac OS X 10.5 at Macworld, at least according to venerable Mac blog Macintouch. I think it’s time for ‘Appleworld,’ a separate conference from Macworld

I know! And no iLife ‘07 or iWork ‘07 either! No 8-core Mac Pros. No Mac mini speed bumps. It’s kinda freaking me out. I hope these things are coming in the next couple of months and that Apple just wanted to squeeze maximum publicity for the iPhone (which has worked, it must be said).

Safe to assume that you are speaking as a Mac geek rather than an Apple shareholder!
