Sunrise over Stanford, near Stock Farm

About an hour later, the M8 recorded this scene as I made my way to the Marguerite shuttle. 21 mm/f2.8 Elmarit M, 1/3000 sec@ f8, ISO 640. It’s like, after 12 years, I never stopped using an old school Leica: the M8 is a manual focus rangefinder, period. It’s like you glued a digital CCD where the film chamber on my M4 used to be. Even the Leica base plate is there, unchanged…
