M8 and the moon over Menlo Park

Here’s how the M8 rendered the predawn moon and sky as Cassie and I made our way on our walk around 6:30 AM. I rested the camera on a chain-link fence rail at Oak Knoll School and gently pushed the shutter release (still a mechanical design, despite electronic shutter) for a 2-second time exposure (at f4 I think). Lens is a 21mm f2.8 Elmarit M (that must be 20 years old). Picture is untouched except for a small amount of sharpening on this small rendition…
