Adobe’s Lightroom is an interesting photo post production product. I played with very early betas at work, and am now learning to use the just-released, and much-evolved product. Indeed, I’ve set up a Mac single-processor G5 just to deal with the plethora of pix we generate around here, and Lightroom is the front end on the system.
Lightroom features batch processing for everything from keywords to color correction, and every change is non-destructive. Lightroom is not a pixel editor, unlike Photoshop (though it integrates nicely with PS CS2 and soon, CS3). Most of the blog pix you see here are being processed in Lightroom. i just checked out lightroom on adobe’s site…it looks really cool. im really thinking about a CS major now, so i always enjoy looking at high quality software.
