The garden is born on a spring day

New garden

Sweet spouse took time out of a full morning (even Sundays are busy for her) to run me to a local nursery, Roger Reynolds, that had lots of good-looking vegetable seedlings. Lemon cucumbers, 4 kinds of tomatoes 2 kinds of leaf lettuce, pole beans and mariigolds came home, and 4 of 8 boxes - half - the garden was planted. I’m so excited… if a bit tired from digging and planting…
