The wind in the garden

It’s  a bright, cool today and there’s a brisk breeze blowing as I sit in the garden sipping coffee after a 2-mile (!) walk with Cassie. I realize, looking closely, that my garden is kind of rag-tag compared to past editions, but what the hey. Truth is I’m kind of rag-tag, too.

Friend Kevin McKean is coming down today: he’s a really busy, bicoastal guy who has nevertheless often made the trip down from SF when he’s in town - I’ve really appreciated his visits. Kevin’s a smart and grounded guy, and I’ve appreciated our conversations and his counsel as well.

I thought I might try to find an inexpensive garden bench or chair at Crate & Barrel or other lower-cost housewares vendor, but spouse Linda solved that by moving one of our 20-year-old patio chairs and a smalll table into a corner of the garden. So I’m good to go on that front.  So now Kevin and I will have to figure out a different expedition… we may need to move a WiFi router to extend the range to the garden…
