Safari 3.0 review

There’s  a good ‘first look’ review of Safari 3.0 on Mac and Windows on Macworld this PM. Still curious why the port to Windows….

    I reckon:

    1. Making Safari-compatible web app development as easy as possible, for iPhone and Mac.

    2. Increasing search engine revenue (http://daringfireball.net/2007/06/wwdc_2007_keynote)

    In the past I would have expected Apple keep Safari exclusive on OS X to encourage Mac sales. I guess Mac sales aren’t the be-all and end-all of Apple any more.
