Finally…. we make the cover of Wired

Yes! That’s me on the cover of Wired this month. Finally!
Of course, I only appear on my copy of Wired. A few issues ago, Wired published a blurb inviting readers to send in a photo, noting the first x thousand would get a cover. Looks like I made the cut. This is an example of VDP - Variable Data Printing.
Pic was snapped by colleague Michael Folkers, who is a very serious amateur photog (he’s even shot pix on Tri-X). He joins that select group of photogs who can claim a Wired cover.
A problem is that there’s only one cover… we’re gonna have to fight over who gets to keep it. The subject has dibs, right?

Reminds me of custom cars they were going to make 7 years ago. You’d basically design your own car by picking matching parts online and it would be shipped to you.
