Here’s the gouged tiles that are concerning NASA’s Endeavour mission. CNET has a slide show that notes the position of the damage, which is said to go right down to bare aluminum. …has been running all night on my G5 Mini, so far no problem. The beta has a list of known issues, but basic ‘office’ funcions work.It’s like linking back up with an old friend – in 2004 I wrote a 450 paqge companion to Sun’s Java Desktop System in OOo on Linux (Sun’s JDS). When we get a stable build, MS Office may go away, at least on my log-in…
