The leaves hereabouts are just starting to turn colors, as Linda points out in her First Blush post this morning. She, I and Cassie made what was, for me, about a 30-minute circuit of the neighborhood where I tried hard to make my wobbly leg walk correctly without using the right side to compensate for the left’s atrophied muscles. I got it right part of the time… getting strength and coordination back is just a long, slow process, I guess….

True, Al used Keynote, not PowerPoint on a MacBook Pro to carry his global warming message to the world, but I can’t remember seeing a corporation devote their home page to a news item like this. True, Gore has been an Apple Board member since 2003.
I have been wondering, 7 years after Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the Presidency on the technicalities of some 800 votes in Florida, who I’d rather be, George W. Bush or Al Gore?
Bush’s Presidency has been pretty much one self-inflicted disaster after another, from Iraq to Katrina to oil leases to corruption in high places – I don’t think history will be kind (nor should it be). But Al Gore, at least for now, is sitting on top of the world. Steve must be pretty happy with Al’s Nobel Prize…
