Saturday was a bit rough: it was just one of those random cancer days where I was weaker, wobblier and more out-of-sorts than usual. Many cancer patients have noted this – cancer just throws you curves some days – as have I. Felt better this AM, and was off to church for a very nice sermon by the Rev. Frannie Hall-Kieschnick, and came home to just get clobbered by chemo fatigue around 2:30 PM.
Rescued by a nap, I cooked a version of a Daniel Boulud dish – poulet provencale – this evening, taking some liberties with the recipe to make a lighter, more acid tomato base. I think we’ll sleep well tonight…
