Grace and Julie at Kaiser hospital, Walnut Creek

Grace Eloise GetzeMom Julie and baby daughter Grace seem to be doing very well after a grueling 20+ hours in labor. Julie was in amazing spirits considering she’d had an hour of sleep, and dad was doing well, too.

Grace’s vitals: 7lbs., 4 oz., 20 inches: arrived at 11:47 PM on November 4. We’re all so thrilled… We’ll be posting a few more pix before day is done…

Congratulations to all!! Chris has the magic touch. The picture of Julie and Grace says it all. Julie is simply beautiful and little Grace basking in the warmth of her surrounding love - they sense it, don’t you think? What a blessing for everyone!

[...] Granddaughter Grace, of course, is the inspiration for this post: imagine that you would once spend a lot of money to have a message delivered same day, and to have a photo made of your newborn. Both of those businesses have gone away. [...]

I think it was particularly thoughtful of Julie to have this baby on my birthday so it will be easy for you to remember. Even after the hard labor Julie looks beautiful.

    Congratulations!

She was such a cute little sweetie, to bad her parents were so evil to her. If she was still alive our grandma would probably adopt her because she was so abused by her parents. We wish she was still alive.
