The Christmas tree appears

Xmas tree 2007Neighbors Rich and Kurt muscled this tree into the house yesterday, and spouse Linda stayed up late last night putting on the lights.

We haven’t had a ‘real’ Christmas Tree for the last couple of years (an empty nester’s prerogative), but Linda decided we absolutely had to have one for granddaughter Grace’s first year - mainly so we could have a photo of Julie, John and Grace in front of it - a photo op backdrop. La voila!

The tree, BTW, is a ‘real’ Noble Fir - we’re no Karl Rove when it comes to photos! Real tree, real liberals in front of it…

    So few bay area residents can afford enough space for a tree, it should be an honor to have one.

    Indeed, a great honor… we are blessed (see granddaughter Grace, above).
