
We went to church early today (8:30), and then to a healing service conducted by our friend, the Rev. Frannie Hall-Kieschnick (who also preached today).
At the healing service, a man none of us knew said that his wife had just died, he was out of work and about to be evicted – his plight put my health issues in perspective. The rector took him aside after the service, doubtless to connect him to the many aid groups that Trinity supports.
The moment gave me pause to reflect on grace, which brought me to thinking about our new granddaughter, Grace. I’ve been reflecting on the morning’s events at Trinity Episcopal Church, and its meaning, since…
