I’m the proud owner of a G4 Cube, which is currently in near-daily use here at gulker.com I love the design, though concur that it was expensive, which seems to be an Apple flaw – assuming that people will buy well-designed technology regardless of price. They’ve got me, pretty obviously, but I think most Mac buyers are more practical.
I like the MacBook Air, my wife likes the MacBook Air, but at $1800, we’re considering a purchase very carefully – it’s basically an email and web browsing appliance, given the RAM and HD sizing. You’re also tethered to WiFi hotspots, no option for the wider coverage of EVDO as Scott Loftesness points out. Elegant, pricey, limited upgrades… hmmmm…
