Too tired to think

Or, maybe that should read ‘too tired to think clearly enough to blog.’ After all, one doesn’t want to embarrass one’s self in public. But, then again, we feel compelled to blog. And I would love to have the time and clear head to blog about things like technology lifespans, ever-shortening horizons of predictability, emergent behaviors including some fascinating insights from a book I’m currently reading about complexity, among other things.
But, gasp it’s not quite 8 PM and I’m exhausted. True, I’ve been up since 6 AM, walked a mile-and-a-half with Scott and Tiger Lily, did a pretty full round of tough ‘Heidi’ exercise, went to an eye appointment, spent an hour on the phone with former SF Examiner colleague Scott Rosenberg on the topic of the ancient history of blogging (1995) for his upcoming book, shopped for cabinet hardware, was fitted for a new orthotic and bought holiday wine, among other things. Sure I can use the glioma for an excuse, but I think I’d be tired even if I were pre-cancer me…
