Our 3-mile loop walk through the valley below Taizé and Ameugny this morning was covered in a fog that lifted as we walked, burning off almost completely as we arrived at the church at Taizé. I’ve walked to Taizé every morning for more than two weeks to attend the chanted, meditative service that the brothers there offer. We’ve just started stretching the walk from .8 mile to alternate 3- and 4-mile loops…

I hope you enjoy your litlle trip in our country although the bad weather (bad also in Provence today).
My theory is there is no bad weather in France… I love it no matter what the weather is doing…
So true about weather. Each type of weather has it’s one splendor, we just have to take the time to discover it. The slow movement of hills of fog on Puget Sound is another example. The trick is to realize that there is no bad weather anywhere…
