Linda’s stitches came out today, and a new cast – hot pink with a purple stripe – went on. Her doctor appointment kicked off a big morning (believe me, getting two immobile people out of the house and into the car is a huge accomplishment in itself) which also saw a trip to Target, the local cheap gas station, and Chavez Market for burritos. Only took us, oh, 5 hours…
Linda has started a blog about our situation called Gimpy and Grumpy, as a follow-on to First Blush, her long-running blog about jogging at dawn. I, apparently, am cast in the role of ‘Grumpy’…

Seems there’s a run on wanting be the grump – when told of the new blog, that’s what my surgeon said too: “Oh, guess I’m the grump.” All proving that males would rather be grumpy than gimpy.
