Post-in-a-box

We’ve thought of a new, and, we think, quite valuable service for legions of weary bloggers who sit down at their keyboards after a long day, and find the muse as unresponsive as they are tired.

Post-in-a-box will offer said bloggers a pre-made post, which, with maybe a few appropriate substitutions, can be cut-and-pasted into the blog. Naturally, Post-in-a-box would have to be suitably Platonic, so as not to stumble over details, like geography, culture, political bent or language, which might be a bit of a challenge. If you get it wrong, the posts would sound like a long fortune cookie.

Specialty blogs, like cooking or science or NASCAR racing might prove a challenge, but you could start generic and branch out. You might have levels of service, starting with a free pre-packaged deal, and rising up the fee ladder to Premium Platinum Palooza, at which level Malcolm Gladwell writes the post, just for you. I could use a good Post-in-a-box just about now…
