
So, we decided, it was time to go mano a mano with the conundrum readers no doubt sensed when the new “All nothing, all the time” policy was announced. It’s easy to have “nothing” text (witness most politics blogs) but “nothing” pictures are a different story (unless you count the trend toward conjectural journalism).
Above, voila a bold attempt at a nothing picture, which was actually snapped in the presence of one of my profession’s finest photo editors. Even as I made this shot, my perplexed companion was asking why I was pointing my camera at the sky, when the real picture was so obviously the people behind me. I didn’t have time to explain the whole “nothing” story, so I just carried on…

CBS rose 1.19% after cancelling “As the world turns” & replacing it with 1 hour of a blank screen. The non economy is booming.
