It was one of those skies this morning that looked better to the camera than the eye. I’ve started toting a Leica rangefinder on my morning walks again, as a way to force me to use the left arm more – no autofocus available on Leica M cameras. Some would say there’s not much in the way of focusing on the M, manual or otherwise…

It would be great if you posted what time of day the pic was snapped.
Thanks for posting these, always a beaut!
Holiday greetings, Rob!
Pic was snapped at 7:01 AM, if I calculated the offset correctly. The Leica’s timestamp was 6:29, but its clock was 32 minutes slow (hasn’t been used in a while).
Considering Leicas now use the same CCDs that point & shoot cameras have had for years & they still won’t implement the same autofocus or live preview of a point & shoot makes you wonder how much of Leica’s money comes from enthusiasts who just want the vintage feel.
Leica fans have got it worse than Mac lovers. Trust me.
