This has been a wonderful trip: a fitting end to 2009 and a great start on 2010. Linda and I revisited some very cherished memories as we walked Central Park and the streets and avenues of New York City. We ate way too much, drank some very nice wine, saw Fela!, visited with old friends, toured the photo galleries in SoHo and Chelsea, and, yes, I took pictures. I am very pleased that my rehab has proceeded sufficiently to navigate the streets and crowds… and we’re re-learning how to make photographs in the process…

Have been following your tale of creative adventure in NYC with great interest. Took a few notes in case the continent tips eastward and I wind up there. Noted the rave on the Lumix DX-3 in case a late Santa FedEX ever shows up! Have a safe trip back and Happy New Year to and Linda.
